A block of rooms has been set up as "MAE" at the rate of $79 double plus 11.5% tax at the Holiday Inn Select. This hotel is approximately a ten-minute walk from the conference venue. To get this rate, reservations should be made by October 28. Other hotels near the campus include the Courtyard by Marriott, $95/night + tax, phone 407-277-7676, and the Hampton Inn, $75/night standard, $99/night suite + tax, phone 407-282-0029. Several additional hotels are located within a mile or two of the UCF campus, as seen on the hotels map. Further information regarding parking on campus will be provided at the Sunday registration. There are many hotels throughout Orlando, particularly closer to the theme parks located in the southwest area of Orlando.

Travel

By air, Orlando and the central Florida region are serviced by the Orlando International Airport (airport code MCO), a major international airport with multiple arriving and departing options from all major airlines. There is no shuttle service from the airport to the Holiday Inn Select; driving time to the UCF area is approximately 20-30 minutes (see directions below), and taxi fare is approximately $40 each way. Most major rental car companies are located either directly on the airport premises or provide shuttle service to their facilities.

Driving directions from Orlando International Airport to the UCF area: Take the 528 East (Beeline) exit from the airport beltway. After a few miles, take the 417 Greenway (Toll Road) north (exit right off 528). There will be two tolls on the 417 between the 528 and the UCF area, approximately $2.00 total. Immediately after the second toll station, take the University Blvd exit, east (right). University Blvd leads directly onto campus, and most of the local hotels are in this area (hotels map).
